Vivo Y21 was launched in the Indian market on Friday. The phone has a water drop style notch display and a rectangular module on the back. The new Vivo Y21 costs Rs. 15,490 in India for the 4GB + 128GB variant. The company says a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option will be available soon. The handset will be available from today in the Vivo India E-Store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, TataCliq, Bajaj Finserv EMI Store and in all partner retail stores. It is available in Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue color options. Introductory offers include Rs. 500 cashback on HDFC bank cards and ICICI bank cards. Bank offers are only valid until September 30th. There are also benefits worth up to Rs. 7,000 for Jio customers and the Vivo phone is also listed with free EMI options. Online offers include an additional Rs. 500 discount on exchanges and free EMI options for up to 9 months

In terms of specs, the Vivo Y21 runs on Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11.1. It has a 6.5 inch HD + (720 x 1,600 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. It packs 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage option. The memory can be expanded up to 512 GB with a microSD card slot.
On the back of the Vivo Y21 there is a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the water drop notch.
There is a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charge support. The connectivity options of the Vivo Y21 include a USB Type-C port, dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano), 4G and more. The dimensions are 164 x 76 x 8 mm and the phone weighs 182 grams and has a fingerprint sensor attached to the side.
