Fitbit Charge 5 color options, design details surface in official looking renderings

The supposed design of Fitbit Charge 5 has surfaced online via official-looking renders showing that the soon-to-be-launched wearable could come in three color options. The leak also reveals that the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5 may come with a color display, which may be a first for the Fitbit Charge range. There’s no official confirmation of the fitness band’s launch, but it is speculated that Fitbit Charge 5 could hit the market in late October. There is no further information on the specifications and features of the upcoming fitness band.

Well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) tweeted some official looking renders of the Fitbit Charge 5 on August 14th. The renderings shared by Blass show that Fitbit’s upcoming fitness band may come in three color options – black, green / silver, and white gold. The color display shown in the renderings shows the time, date and current heart rate along with an indicator that responds either to heart rate or to increasing steps.

On the outside, the Fitbit Charge 5 shows a strip that runs the length of the display of the fitness band on both sides. It can be speculated that these strips could be used to navigate the user interface of the fitness band. The renders also show that the Fitbit fitness strap may be interchangeable, as was the case with previous Fitbit Charge models. The straps appear to be Fitbit proprietary. There is no further information on the specifications and features of the wearable.

The launch date for Fitbit Charge 5 is not yet known, but it can be speculated that it will be released on October 23rd based on the date shown on the display of the renders. However, since there is no official confirmation of the launch, the October release date should be treated with caution.
