JioPhone Next price in India has surfaced online. Its specs have also surfaced again and this time we’re going to learn a little more about what the cheapest smartphone to come can bring. The phone was developed by Reliance Jio in collaboration with Google and is expected to run Android 11 (Go edition). The latest leak says it comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, two storage configurations, and 4G VoLTE connectivity. JioPhone Next was announced back in June at Reliance Industries’ 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

According to a tweet from popular tipster Yogesh, JioPhone Next may cost Rs. 3,499. It should go on sale in India from September 10th.
The price was also listed as under $ 50 for the JioPhone Next in an earlier leak, suggesting the phone could cost under Rs. 4,000 in India. This is consistent with the new leak.

JioPhone Next is expected to run on Android 11 (Go Edition) and have a 5.5-inch HD display. It can be powered by the Qualcomm QM215 SoC and come with 2 GB or 3 GB RAM. There could be 16GB or 32GB of eMMC 4.5 internal storage. Visually, the phone can be equipped with a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. JioPhone Next can be equipped with 4G VoLTE support and dual SIM support. The phone could be supported by a 2,500 mAh battery.
This isn’t the first time the specs for JioPhone Next have been overturned. Recently, the boot animation and some features were shared by Mishaal Rahman, Editor-in-Chief of XDA Developers. The specifications mentioned by Rahman are in line with the new leak and in addition, the phone is said to be equipped with Bluetooth v4.2, GPS connectivity and 1080p video recording. DuoGo and Google Camera Go may be preinstalled.
