Smartphone renderings of the Moto E series are to appear online; Shows two rear cameras, waterdrop style notch

Renders of an unnamed Motorola smartphone have surfaced online. These renders were shared via a tweet from a tipster, but the smartphone’s nickname is not mentioned. From the design of the Motorola smartphone, it can be speculated that it is part of the Moto E range. According to reports, Motorola is working on the development of some new smartphones such as the Moto E20 and Moto E40. Recently, the design and key specs of the upcoming Moto G50 5G (codenamed Saipan) were also leaked.

The renders of an upcoming Motorola smartphone were tweeted by the well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks). However, Blass didn’t mention which smartphones the renderings were intended for, and the tweet just said, “Name this phone”. Given the design of the smartphone, it can be speculated that it is part of the budget-friendly range of products from Lenovo’s own company – the Moto-E series.

According to the renders shared by Blass, the Motorola smartphone is getting a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. The display is given a high aspect ratio with thick bezels on three sides and a thicker chin. On the right-hand side, the renderings show buttons for the voice assistant, volume rockers and the power button. On the other hand, it has a SIM slot.

The back of the smartphone shows a honeycomb design with a Motorola logo in the middle. However, it is not clear whether the logo also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The renders show a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. The housing of the rear camera can be seen in the upper left corner of the back of the smartphone and “AI Dual Camera” is etched on the module. The upper part of the smartphone receives a 3.5 mm headphone jack and on the bottom a USB port – looks like a USB Type-C port – and a speaker grille.

Pale previously shared some official looking renders of the Moto G50 5G “Saipan”. The design of the smartphone differs slightly from the design of the Moto G50 (code name Ibiza). Some key specs of the Moto G50 5G ‘Saipan’ have also appeared online claiming that it could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
