PlayStation 5 will be back in stock in India on August 26th at 12 noon (noon). Sony’s own online store has updated its PS5 console page with the pre-order date. Along with Sony’s e-store, the console is likely to be pre-ordered through other online platforms that have previously also put the console on sale. Listings for the PS5 are available on several of these sites, but are undated. PlayStation 5 was launched worldwide last November and arrived in India in February of this year.
The PS5 was last pre-ordered in India on July 26th and, like all previous instances, sold out within minutes. Now, a month later, the console will be available for pre-order again, so that interested buyers have another chance to get hold of one with a little luck. Sony’s online store Shopatsc.com has announced August 26th from 12 noon as the date.
While other sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card, Croma, and Game Loot have listed the console, there is no pre-order date that suggests they will go live on these deals at the same time as the date, 08/26.
Only the Standard Edition of the PS5 can be pre-ordered on this date and costs Rs. 49,990. You get the console and a DualSense controller in the box.
Since its launch last November, PlayStation 5 has struggled with stock issues around the world and a large number of people are still waiting to get their hands on the console. Interestingly, Sony announced late last month that it has sold over 10 million PS5 consoles worldwide since it launched on July 18. The company also said the PS5 has become the fastest-selling console of all time.
