2022 Honda Civic Hatchback prices keep things affordable, $ 25,000 brings you a stick

The new hatchback is a leaner thing.

Honda

the Honda Civic Hatchback 2022 is the ace up the brand’s sleeve. It remains affordable and is designed to cater to buyers looking for something sportier than the sedan. This is doubly true nowadays with that Civic Coupe dead and away (although the Acura Integra returns, remember). Essentially, Honda has to get it to the point and buyers will have the final say when it officially goes on sale.

Honda announced prices for the 2022 Civic Hatchback on Monday, and the car will start at $ 23,915 after a target fee of $ 1,015. That’s for an LX trim with the 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder and a CVT. Here you can see 158 hp. Honda’s sport trim became a popular level for the last generation Civic, and this time it’s returning for the Civic Hatchback too, starting at $ 25,115. The price is the same whether someone wants the optional six-speed manual or the CVT, which is a nice bonus if you’re still digging the three-pedal life. However, fuel economy suffers with the stick by dropping three mpg combined by the CVT.

If you want the more powerful 180 hp 1.5-liter turbo four in your Civic hatchback, you can also grab a manual. While the engine is only offered in the EX-L and Sport Touring equipment, Honda brings the transmission into the most expensive equipment. Prices for the EX-L start at $ 27,615 if you just want the turbo engine and go up to $ 30,415 for a Sport Touring. The cost doesn’t change between the six-speed manual and the CVT, just like with the sports equipment. Honestly, that’s generous from Honda these days.

Production of the new Civic hatch is ongoing and will take place in the USA for the first time. Honda relocated hatchback production from Great Britain to the USA for this generation.
