Amazon is hosting an event next week to showcase the latest editions of its growing line of Ring, Fire TV, and Echo devices, as well as updates to its services. The virtual event will take place on September 28th.

Amazon’s invitation on Monday didn’t reveal much, but the retail giant could unveil updated versions of its Echo smart speakers and displays. During its fall event for devices and services last year, Amazon introduced the fourth generation spherical echo, Echo point and Echo Dot Children’s Edition as well as Echo Show 10.

One more thing we might get next week: a release date for that Ring Always Home Cam. Amazon unveiled the $ 250 indoor drone – a flying security camera that docks when not in use – during its event last year but didn’t give an exact release date.

It’s unclear whether Amazon has more in store for Fire TV. Earlier this month, the company introduced a new standalone streamer, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, as well as the Amazon Fire TV Omni and Fire TV 4 series. The new TVs built by Amazon can be pre-ordered and should arrive in October.

Of course, Amazon could also have surprises ready to unpack. We’ll find out exactly next week.
