Starting this week, you can finally get a twin pack of Eero Pro 6 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 routers for under $ 400. Moving the Amazon-owned company gives you cheaper ways to upgrade your existing Wi-Fi router to a faster, more powerful option.
First announced when the Eero Pro 6 launched last year, the two-pack is now available through Amazon and Best Buy (although, oddly, not on Eero’s own website). And currently both sides are offering an additional discount of 20 percent for Prime and Best Buy members through September 28th. That means you can cover a house up to 3,500 square feet in fast Wi-Fi quality with this tri-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh router for around $ 320. (The single and triple packs are also currently discounted.)
Before, your options were a single Eero Pro 6 that covers 2,000 square feet for $ 229, or the three-pack that more than most people need to cover 6,000 square feet for $ 599. It was possible to buy two Eero Pro 6 units, but not easily. You had to look for it on Amazon, and if you happen to land on BestBuy.com or Eero’s own website, you’re out of luck or pay $ 60 more for two individual Eeros.

The Eero double pack is ideal for anyone whose living space is somewhere between a studio apartment and a three-bedroom house in the suburbs. And of course, WiFi coverage isn’t just about space. If you’ve got 1,500 square feet divided by thick brick walls and you’re looking for a wireless way to spread the speed, an extra node or two will certainly come in handy.
The Eero Pro 6 mesh system offers gigabit speed, Wi-Fi 6, and tri-band performance. The satellite nodes that you place in your home also have two Ethernet ports, so you can firmly connect a TV or game console to one for a more reliable connection without them having to be in the same room as your modem.
The Eeros also have a built-in Zigbee smart home hub that allows you to connect select Zigbee devices, including smart light bulbs, door locks, smart plugs, and smart sensors. While it acts as a hub, you still need the Amazon Alexa app and an Amazon account to set up and manage the devices.

With this third price option, the very expensive Eero Pro 6 approaches competitors like Asus with its two-pack ZenWiFi AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system for $ 450. However, the Asus offers more control over the network settings, which the Eero does not offer despite its Pro-Tag.
If the price is still too high for you, the non-professional Eero 6 routers are $ 279 for a three-pack and cover up to 5,000 square feet. But you only get a dual-band setup and the recommended speeds are 500Mbps.
