According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will come with 25W fast charging support in China. The charging specification for Samsung’s upcoming flagship non-foldable smartphones comes from a 3C list. The 3C certification only suggests the charging specifications of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra in China. Previous reports have suggested that the Vanilla Galaxy S22 could come with a 3,590 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra could come with 4,500 mAh and 5,000 mAh battery capacities, respectively.
The 3C list discovered by MyFixGuide mentions fast charging support for three Samsung smartphones. The smartphones are listed by their model numbers only – SM-S9010, SM-S9060, and SM-S9080. These model numbers supposedly apply to the Vanilla Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22 + and the Galaxy S22 Ultra, respectively. The 3C list mentions 25W fast charging support for the three Samsung smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is said to come with the Samsung EP-TA800 25W charger.
Since the 3C list is only for China-specific models, it is speculated that the global model of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could support 65W fast charging. A previous list of 3C certifications suggested that the Galaxy S22 + would get a 4,500 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra would have a 5,000 mAh battery. A tipster, Venkatesh Babu.G, suggested that the Vanilla Galaxy S22 will have a 3,590 mAh battery.
An earlier report suggests the Galaxy S22 series will launch in February 2022. The upcoming non-foldable flagships of the South Korean technology giant are set to hit the market through a Galaxy Unpacked event. They will reportedly be unveiled ahead of the Mobile World Congress on February 28th.
Another report suggests that the Galaxy S22 Ultra could come with Galaxy Note-like S Pen integration and a curved display. Well-known tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) shared some official looking renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone. The renderings show flat top and bottom areas and curved sides. There is an S Pen on the underside of the smartphone, which is housed next to a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille.
