Realme GT Neo 2 India Launches Today: Watch Livestream, Expected Specs

Realme GT Neo 2 launches today at 12:30 p.m. IST in India in a virtual event that will be streamed live. Some key specifications of the smartphone were revealed through a microsite created by Realme for launch. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and has a 5,000 mAh battery. Realme GT Neo 2 is also equipped with a 120 Hz E4 AMOLED display with 1300 nits of peak brightness. In addition to the smartphone, Realme is also launching a new color variant of the Realme Buds Air 2 on the market.

The Realme GT Neo 2 was launched in China in September. As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT Neo 2 will launch in India today at 12:30 p.m. IST. The event will be broadcast live on Realme’s official social media channels. You can also follow the event here from the video embedded below.

Realme GT Neo 2 specifications (tested)

The Realme GT Neo 2 is powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and comes with 5G connectivity. The processor also has a stainless steel steam cooling plus system that is supposed to lower the core temperature of the processor by up to 18 degrees Celsius. The Realme smartphone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 65 W SuperDart Charge fast charging support. The smartphone should be fully charged in 36 minutes.

The smartphone has a Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 600 Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The screen of the Realme GT Neo 2 should also have 15 percent less power consumption. It is said to be offered in three color options – Neo Black, Neo Blue and Neo Green.

As mentioned before, Realme will also launch a new green color variant of the Realme Buds Air 2 in India. The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds were originally launched in India in February and come in Closer Black and Closer White color options. The Realme TWS earbuds have active noise cancellation, dynamic 10mm drivers and a transparency mode for listening through.
