Battlegrounds Mobile India will receive an update that will bring various new features to the popular Battle Royale game. The update 1.6.5 was teased by developer Krafton through an Instagram post. Many of the new features for Battlegrounds Mobile India have already been rolled out, while the others will be released to players later this month. In addition, Krafton has announced it banned more than 81,000 accounts for fraudulent behavior in the week beginning October 1.
Krafton announced the upcoming update to Battlegrounds Mobile India with an Instagram post that said, “Update 1.6.5 is coming this October.” No specific release date was given, but the accompanying video explained the update and its many modes in detail.
One of the first features players already have is Metro Royale: Reunion Mode – available September 28th. The new game mode allows players to add items found during the game to the loadout inventory as loot, provided that players reach the return point in the specified time.
Players can then use these items in the next game or sell them on the black market for Metro Cash, which will help players purchase special items for Metro Royale: Reunion mode. This mode contains three cards and the cards are unlocked according to the player’s FAME level. The Metro Royale: Reunion mode has four different sub-modes – Basic, Undercover, Advanced and Assault.
Battlegrounds Mobile India added the Vikendi map on October 8th. The snow-covered map covers 6 km in each direction. Players can use the snowmobile vehicle and the G36C pistol.
Runic Power mode will be available to players starting October 15th. Players can choose between three runes – Arctic, Flame and Wind – on the Spawn Island. Each rune is given special abilities that are divided into attack and defense. Each skill uses some rune crystals when used. The arctic rune creates a wall of ice for defense and uses freezing ammunition as an attack skill. The flame rune receives a magma wheel and scorching ammunition as an offensive skill. Finally, players can use the wind rune to create a windbreak to reduce damage from the enemy’s bullets, while the Wind Boost skill increases players’ reload and movement speed.
On October 22nd, Battlegrounds Mobile India will get Survive till Dawn mode. This would require players to fend off infected zombies on the Erangel map, and there are some rewards for players defeating the zombies and their boss.
The Payload 2.0 mode is said to be released on October 31st and in this mode helicopters and armed cars are armed with powerful weapons like the AT4-A Laser Missile and M202 Quadruple RPG. In addition, players will receive a portable radar, bomb suit, and UAV control terminal, which can be found in the super weapon boxes across the map. In addition, players can revive their fallen comrades multiple times from the communication tower using the ID in the fallen teammate’s loot box.
The Virus Infection – Halloween mode will be available from October 31st and consists of three rounds. Basically, the players would be randomly divided into the zombie or human teams, where zombies have to infect people and people have to defend themselves against the undead. A team wins if the zombies or humans infect or kill and vice versa.
Additionally, through a post on its website, Krafton announced that it had permanently suspended 81,049 accounts from October 1 to October 7. These accounts have been suspended due to misconduct or fraud. Battlegrounds Mobile India closely monitored the leaderboard and suspended 517 accounts between September 25th and October 13th. The developer first announced the suspension of accounts suspected of fraud when over 140,000 accounts were suspended in a week last month.
