Bitcoin’s rally to a new all-time high might have seen a minor spike on October 12, but the world’s most popular cryptocurrency is back on track, up nearly 3 percent from Wednesday October 13 and at around $ 58,000 (approximately Rs. 43.7) traded lakhs) mark on Thursday morning. While Bitcoin’s valuation on Indian exchanges like CoinSwitch Kuber is much higher at Rs. 44.78.507 (about $ 59.470), the trajectory is clear and exceeding the $ 60,000 mark (about 45.2 lakhs) is clearly next in the crosshairs.

But it wasn’t all a good day for bitcoin traders alone. Gadgets 360’s cryptocurrency price tracker shows that most of the popular altcoins had a good day too. Ether prices saw a sizeable 3.86 percent increase in valuation, a notable increase for the first time of the week. The blockchain-based cryptocurrency Ethereum also started well on Thursday morning with gains of 2.85 percent that were already on show. At the time of writing, the crypto asset is currently rated at Rs. 2.84.798 (approximately $ 3782).

While most of the other altcoins also had profits, Polkadot, Stellar and Chainlink were the biggest winners that day, all gaining more than 5 percent. In fact, prior to the Parachain auction process, which allocates slots to projects to build on the Polkadot cryptocurrency network, Polkadot saw a 17.28 percent increase.

In other crypto-related news, Bollywood star Salman Khan took to Twitter to announce the launch of his own NFT collection, which will be available on BollyCoin – a new, dedicated Bollywood-themed NFT platform created by Bollywood actors, producers and Director Atul. Agnihotri was founded. The actor joins Amitabh Bachchan, who also hopped on the NFT madness.

In terms of statistics, there are more positive developments for crypto enthusiasts in the country. According to an annual diffusion index compiled by broker discovery and comparison platform BrokerChoose, India has the highest number of cryptocurrency owners in the world in terms of individual number of holders. In second and third place were the USA and Russia.
