Through a post on Weibo, iQoo confirmed that the iQoo Z5x will hit the market on October 20th. Interested buyers can pre-order the smartphone via the iQoo online shop. The landing page of the online shop teases that the smartphone is getting a 5,000 mAh battery.
The landing page in the iQoo online shop also teases the design with some pictures of the upcoming smartphone. iQoo Z5x comes in two color options – black and orange. The smartphone is shown with a rectangular camera module that houses two lenses – allegedly a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the right spine you can see the phone with a volume rocker and a power button. On the underside of the iQoo Z5x there is a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Earlier this week, an alleged TENAA list hinted at the possible specifications of the iQoo Z5x. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC, paired with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. iQoo Z5x can get 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage options. The TENAA list shows that the smartphone could get a 6.58-inch TFT display and run Android 11. According to the listing, the iQoo Z5x measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.
