Moto G200 should be in the works. Prior to an official announcement from Motorola, some of the smartphone’s key specifications were leaked online. The alleged smartphone is said to have a full HD + display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Moto G200 is also said to be powered by Snapdragon 888 under the hood. It is speculated that the Moto G200 is a successor to the Moto G100, which was launched in China in March this year.

According to a tweet from tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the upcoming Motorola smartphone will be codenamed “Yukon”. According to a report by the German publication TechnikNews, the Moto G200 smartphone is codenamed “Yukon / Xpeng” and could be released in November 2021. According to the report, the Moto G200 may run on Android 11 and have a Full HD + display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The handset could be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM.

According to the report, the Moto G200 may have a triple rear camera overridden by a 108-megapixel S5KHM2 sensor from Samsung. The camera setup can also include a 13-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Moto G200 is said to have a 16-megapixel front camera.

Moto G200 could hit the market in China as the Motorola Edge S30, the report said. However, Motorola has not officially disclosed details about the Moto G200, so this information should be treated with caution.

The Moto G200’s specs will likely be an upgrade from the Moto G100, which launched in China this March. It is also expected to have some features that are similar to those of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and Motorola Edge S Pro.

As a reminder: The Moto G100 has a 6.7-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,520 pixels) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 21: 9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The onboard storage can be expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 1 TB). The handset has a quad rear camera that includes a 64 megapixel primary sensor. The Moto G100 has a 3.5mm audio jack and two front cameras for selfies and video calls.
