Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3 update brings status displays, outdoor training mode


Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 users are getting a new software update that brings some new features to the wearables including status indicators. The Fitbit OS 5.3 update brings status indicators to the smartwatch that let users know when the device’s battery is critically low right on the watch face. Users also know when Do Not Disturb (DND) or Sleep Mode settings are enabled. A new display is also shown if the watch is not connected to the smartphone. The update also brings a new training mode, common improvements and bug fixes for the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 smartwatch models.

Fitbit announced the rollout of its Fitbit OS 5.3 for Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 through its community forum.

The latest status indicators appear at the top of the watch face for three seconds when the display is turned on, and then disappear. Users can also swipe right to see the icons at the top of the Quick settings Menu. It is recommended that users update the firmware version of their Fitbit wearables while they have a strong Wi-Fi connection and.
