How to add links to Instagram stories


Instagram recently revamped the ability to add links in stories with a new link sticker option. Previously, this feature was only available to select users and the links appeared as a swipe button at the bottom. However, with recent changes, users can now add links to any part of the story on the screen. The swipe-up method of linking stories on Instagram was only available to users with more than 10,000 followers. However, this restriction has been lifted and now all users on Instagram can post a link in their Stories using link stickers.

How to add links to Instagram Stories

After removing the condition of adding links for accounts, this feature will be available to all users on Instagram. The company recently announced the launch of Link Stickers worldwide, so it may take a while for them to be added to all accounts. The link can be pasted anywhere in the Instagram Stories. Follow these simple steps to add links to your Instagram Stories.

  1. Go to the Instagram app and swipe right. The option to post a story appears. A user can post a photo or video as a story.

  2. After loading the photo, swipe up to open the sticker drawer. the shortcut The option should appear right under GIF and next to the poll widget options.

  3. click on the shortcut Option and paste the url you want to add to the story.

  4. The link will then appear in an Instagram story like any other sticker. This link sticker can be moved and placed on any part of the story.

  5. This link sticker is clickable and takes the user to the published URL after clicking.

  6. Users can then post the story to their account by clicking on the share Opportunity.
