The Poco M4 Pro 5G is slated to hit the global market on November 9th. This will be the last smartphone launch of the year for the Poco brand. The new teasers of the Poco M4 Pro 5G reveal that the phone is powered by an ultra-fast processor. Its fast charge capacity has also been teased. The phone has leaked multiple times in the past. It was discovered on Geekbench and has also leaked through multiple certification bodies.
In new Twitter teasers, the Poco Global account confirms that the Poco M4 Pro 5G will be equipped with 33 W fast charging support. In addition, another separately shared teaser poster confirms that the Poco M4 Pro 5G is powered by an “ultra-fast” processor based on a 6 nm chip. While the name of the processor is not disclosed, the Geekbench list suggests that it may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC or the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
Reports also suggest that the Poco M4 Pro 5G and the recently released Redmi Note 11 5G model are likely to be very similar as well. As a reminder, the Redmi Note 11 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, and it is possible that the Poco M4 Pro 5G will also be presented with the same processor. This is of course pure speculation and should be treated with caution.
The Geekbench list also suggests that the Poco M4 Pro 5G can pack 8GB of RAM and run on Android 11 software. It was also discovered on the IMEI, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Compulsory Certificate of China (3C) certification bodies with model numbers 21091116AC and 21091116AG. 21091116AC probably stands for the Chinese variant and 21091116AG could stand for the global model.
There’s little else we know about the Poco M4 Pro 5G, but the company will reveal full details of the phone’s pricing, availability, and specs on November 9th. The event starts at 8 p.m. GMT + 8 (5.30 p.m. IST).
