The Poco M4 Pro 5G is slated to hit the market on November 9th. Ahead of the global reveal, the first look and specs of the upcoming Poco phone were leaked online. As the successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G, the handset features a hole-punch design and a dual rear-view camera setup. Poco M4 Pro 5G could debut as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 5G, which was officially launched in China in October. Due to the new leaks, the handset may have a 90Hz refresh rate display.
A report from ThePixel.vn (in Vietnamese) shared the first pictures and some specs of the new Poco smartphone. Poco M4 Pro is said to be identical to Redmi Note 11, which was recently launched in China. According to the report, the Poco M4 Pro can be equipped with a 6.6-inch Full HD + IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, similar to the Redmi Note 11 series phone. The handset could be operated with the Dimensity 810 chipset. The Poco M4 Pro is set to debut with three RAM and storage configurations – 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB, and 8 GB + 128 GB.
For the optics, the Poco M4 Pro is equipped with a rectangular camera module that houses two reversing cameras. The camera system may include a 50 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens. The rectangular module also houses an LED flash and an AI logo. The perforated cutout of the display houses a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and videos. According to the report, the Poco M4 Pro could pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging capacity.
Nothing is known about the price of the new smartphone. Poco will announce more details about the Poco M4 Pro 5G on November 9th. The introductory event begins at 8 p.m. GMT + 8 (5.30 p.m. IST).
