JioPhone Next was launched in India. The smartphone developed by Google is available in nearby retail stores across India. Reliance urges users to register their interest first via WhatsApp or the company page before going to the store. A representative from the Reliance Digital Store in Mumbai confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the JioPhone Next is in stock. However, the phone cannot be purchased without prior registration. JioPhone Next specifications

As for specs, the JioPhone Next runs on Pragati OS, an optimized version of Android tailored for users in India. It has a 5.45-inch HD + display (720 x 1,440 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an anti-fingerprint coating. In the camera department, the JioPhone Next has a 13-megapixel rear-view camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera features include portrait mode, night mode and pre-installed custom India augmented reality filters.
