Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is reportedly in the works. Ahead of the South Korean tech giant’s official announcement, a new leak points to the camera specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone. The new Samsung Galaxy A13 phone will succeed the Galaxy A12 that launched globally last year and is expected to feature quad rear cameras with a 50 megapixel main camera sensor. The remaining sensors should be the same as in the predecessor. The Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a quad rear camera with a 48 megapixel primary sensor.
According to a report by South Korean publication The Elec, Samsung plans to provide a 50-megapixel main camera module for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A13. According to the report, the quad rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and two 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors. The Galaxy A13 is said to have an 8-megapixel camera at the front.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G has been circulating in rumors for a few weeks. Recent leaks suggest that the specs could include a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 6.48-inch Full HD + LCD display. The smartphone is said to be available in three RAM and storage configurations – 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage option, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option. The handset is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging support.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was launched in India in February of this year and has a 6.5-inch HD + (720 x 1,600 pixels) TFT Infinity-V display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9. An octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC together with 4 GB of RAM drives the smartphone. As previously mentioned, the handset includes a quad rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Galaxy A12 also has an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the front for selfies. It offers 128 GB of onboard storage, expandable via a microSD card (up to 1 TB), and has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15 W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 costs Rs. 13,999 in India for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and Rs. 16,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
