OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Limited Edition could debut in India soon as the company launches a new device

OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Limited Edition is expected to hit Indian store shelves soon. Before the official launch, OnePlus announced the arrival of a new smartphone via social media handles. It hasn’t been explicitly stated what this could be, but the company shared an image of the Pac-Man game indicating the arrival of a Pac-Man-themed version of the new OnePlus Nord 2, which is expected to be a revamped version of the OnePlus Be north 2. The phone has also been leaked earlier and is expected to come with a Snapdragon chipset. OnePlus Nord 2, the successor to OnPlus Nord, was presented in India in July of this year.

The Chinese smartphone company used OnePlus India’s Twitter and Instagram handles to share a picture of the Pac-Man game with the words “coming soon”. The phone is believed to be the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition, which was recently leaked. Tipper Paras Guglani has meanwhile suggested the chipset of the upcoming cell phone via Twitter. According to him, OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Limited Edition will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset found in the OnePlus Nord 2. However, the company hasn’t announced any specifications or features for the upcoming edition yet.

As a reminder, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G was launched this July as the company’s first phone with a MediaTek SoC. The handset has a 6.43-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The specifications of the smartphone include an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 -AI SoC, a triple rear camera with a 50 megapixel primary sensor from Sony IMX766 and a 4,500 mAh dual cell battery that supports Warp Charge 65.

The handset costs Rs. 27,999 in India for the basic version 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
