Ducati has presented the Pro-III electric scooter, which advertises the latest offering for micromobility as “the most technically advanced”. The Ducati Pro-III is equipped with a token that the owner can use to start the vehicle by simply bringing it close to the display. In this way, Ducati ensures that the vehicle is only used by the person who has the chip. To start the e-scooter, all you have to do is bring the NFC token onto the display and wait for the “pass” sign to appear, and you’re ready to go.
The Pro-III is powered by a 350 W motor and a battery with a capacity of 468 Wh, which can travel up to 50 km on a single charge. The battery can be fully charged in about nine hours. The vehicle costs 799 euros (approx. 68,400 rupees).
The 3.2-inch LED display on the Ducati Pro-III can help manage multiple functions, including a choice of four driving modes – 6 km / h, 15 km / h, 20 km / h and 25 km / h . The driver can charge smartphones or other devices on the go via the USB port. The built-in app, available for both Android and iOS, allows the owner to constantly monitor the vehicle’s performance and its location.
The owner can also request help in real time via chat. The vehicle has tubeless 10-inch puncture protection tires for stability and comfort. It has front and rear disc brakes and LED lights. The frame is made of a magnesium alloy and the vehicle weighs a maximum of 100kg.
