Poco teases new Poco F3 model slated to hit the market on November 9th along with Poco M4 Pro 5G

Poco is ready to introduce the new Poco M4 Pro 5G on November 9th. In the run-up to the global launch, Poco has confirmed the arrival of another smartphone. In addition to the highly anticipated Poco M4 Pro 5G, Poco is preparing for the launch of a new variant of the Poco F3. The company has teased Poco F3 over its social media handles. The original Poco F3 was launched worldwide this March, and the new model could come with improved specifications, including optics, chipset, and battery.

Poco announced the arrival of a new variant of the Poco F3 on Monday November 8th via the company’s official Twitter account. The launch date of the Poco F3 and Poco M4 PRO 5G is set for November 9th. The event starts at 8 p.m. GMT + 8 (5.30 p.m. IST).

The brand hasn’t explicitly said what the new twist on the phone will offer. The new model of the Poco F3 could be a renamed version of the Redmi K40 Pro. It could also debut as the Poco F3 Pro – successor to the Poco F2 Pro. Since there is still no official confirmation from Poco, these are only speculations.

Poco F3 was launched on the world market in March of this year together with Poco X3 Pro. The handset was introduced as a rebadge of the Redmi K40 launched in China. The specifications of the Poco F3 will likely be an upgrade to those of the Vanilla model.

On the spec front, Poco F3 runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 for Poco and has a 6.67-inch Full HD + E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The handset packs a 3.2 GHz Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood along with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The Vanilla Poco F3 has a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 5-megapixel telephoto macro camera. The handset has a 20-megapixel selfie camera for selfies. It contains a 4,520 mAh battery with 33 W fast charge support.
