The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE hasn’t hit the market yet, despite the fact that there have been many leaks. The predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, was unveiled in September, and the Galaxy S21 FE is likely to be delayed due to chip shortages and delivery bottlenecks worldwide. A new leak reveals a possible new launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and even the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The latter, the flagship of the Galaxy S series from Samsung, should include several models as every year.
The prolific tipster Jon Prosser has pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could hit the market on January 4th next year with no pre-order schedule. The phone is expected to go on sale on January 11th. Next year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will generally announce new products, begins January 5th in Las Vegas. Samsung is expected to feature the Galaxy S21 FE in pre-event media keynotes. This is pure speculation, of course, and Samsung has yet to make an official announcement.
The tipster also reports that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be unveiled on February 8 of next year at 10 a.m. ET (8.30 p.m. IST). Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 range are expected to start on the same day and sales can start on February 18th.
Previously, Prosser leaked hands-on pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra model. According to the leaked images, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra appears to have a hole-punch display with curved edges. The images also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could include a dedicated space for an S Pen. On the back, the Galaxy S22 Ultra seems to have a quad rear camera as well as an LED flash module.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is likely to have a similar design pattern to the Galaxy S21 series. The handset may have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It was recommended to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. In addition, the Galaxy S21 FE can contain a 4,500 mAh battery and 25 W fast charging functions.
