The Motorola Moto G71’s specs and pictures allegedly surfaced via a certification list. According to the listing shared by a tipster, the smartphone will be equipped with a hole-punch display and a triple rear-view camera. The phone is said to have a full HD + display and contain a 4,700 mAh battery. The Motorola smartphone had previously been spotted on the certification website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The cell phone should have 5G and NFC connectivity. Nothing is known about the Moto G71 from Lenovo’s own company.
According to a post by the tipster WHYLAB on Weibo, the rumored Moto G71 has appeared on TENAA with the model number XT2169-2 (translated). Gadgets 360 was unable to independently confirm the entry. The tipster says that the alleged smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) OLED panel. The phone is said to have a 4,700 mAh battery and a 3.5mm port as one of the connectivity options. As far as computing power is concerned, the Motorola smartphone will be equipped with an octa-core SoC with a clock rate of 2.2 GHz. It’s possible that this SoC is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chip that also powers the Moto G51, but that’s just speculation.
The Moto G71 was spotted on the US FCC website last month. It was also suggested that the smartphone would come with 5G and NFC connectivity options. Incidentally, the FCC lists a Motorola smartphone with the model number XT2169-1, which could be a variant of the Moto G71. The alleged presence of 5G connectivity also suggests that the phone may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset. The Moto G71 is said to have a thickness of 8.4 mm and a weight of 180 grams.
Motorola recently launched the Moto G51 with a 6.8-inch LCD display. As mentioned earlier, the phone is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ octa-core SoC with 8 GB of RAM. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone and the connectivity options include dual 5G support.
