Infinix Note 11S is about to debut in the Indian market. The company’s Indian CEO teased the launch of the budget smartphone. The handset was originally launched in Thailand and runs on the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. It is available in three RAM and memory configurations and offers a triple rear view camera system led by a 50 megapixel main camera. Regardless, the company is reportedly preparing to unveil its first 5G smartphone, Infinix Zero 5G. Prior to an official announcement, a tipster shared renders of the smartphone online and gave a look at the design and some specs.
Infinix India CEO Anish Kapoor tweeted the Indian launch of Infinix Note 11S. Kapoor posted a picture showing the retail packaging of the Infinix Note 11 and Infinix Note 11S with the caption: “For all the players in the house, get ready because something special is coming soon.” Infinix Note 11S is touted by the company as a gaming smartphone and carries a monster game kit.
Infinix Note 11S was launched in November and runs on Android 11. The smartphone has a 6.95-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz Phone from a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, paired with 8 GB of RAM. It offers 128 GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 2 TB).
For the optics, the handset has a triple rear-view camera system, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 2-megapixel snappers. The handset has a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The Infinix Note 11S has two speakers with DTS surround sound. The Infinix Note 11S has a face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W Super Charge fast charging.
Separately, a well-known tipster who bears the name Tech Arena24 on YouTube shared details about the arrival of the first 5G-enabled smartphone from Infinix in a video. According to the tipster, the smartphone has the model number X6815 and will be called Infinix Zero 5G. The renderings of the Infinix Zero 5G shared by the tipster show a hole-punch display for the selfie shooter and three cameras on the back with two LED flash units. The smartphone should have a Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Infinix Zero 5G will also pack the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset under the hood.
Infinix has not yet officially announced details of the introduction of Infinix Zero 5G. So these details should be treated with caution.
