Oppo K9x with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 5,000 mAh Battery Revealed: Specifications


The Oppo K9x smartphone was presented in China. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and has a 64-megapixel triple rear-view camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. The handset comes with a hole punch display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It is also equipped with Oppo’s HyperBoost mobile acceleration technology, which, according to Oppo, aims to improve the smartphone’s gaming performance. There’s a smart cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature in check and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Oppo K9x price, availability

The price of the Oppo K9x will not be disclosed, but an earlier report had suggested that it could start at CNY 1,499 (about Rs.17,700) for the base model. Oppo has announced that the smartphone will be available in the variants 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The phone is available in black and silver violet.

Oppo K9x specifications

Oppo K9x runs on Android 11-based ColorOS and has a 6.5-inch full HD + display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The phone features Oppo’s HyperBoost mobile acceleration technology for enhanced gaming performance and “smart cooling technology” to keep the temperature under control during long gaming sessions.

For photography, the Oppo K9x has an AI triple rear camera highlighted by a 64 megapixel primary sensor. There is also a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with a macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging support. The Oppo K9x has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
