Realme 9i was discovered on the Chinese e-commerce website AliExpress as a placeholder list indicating the specifications of the company’s upcoming smartphone. The company’s upcoming smartphone is expected to launch as part of the Realme 9 series in China in January and was recently spotted on various certification websites. According to the smartphone’s listing, the Realme 9i could have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. According to the listing, the smartphone should also have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging with 33 W.
The AliExpress listing for the Realme 9i was discovered by MySmartPrice. The listing that lists the phone as an upcoming offer, with no picture but some specs that suggest the smartphone could have a 50 megapixel main camera. This was also mentioned in an older report. A second camera is mentioned in the listing, but its resolution is not specified. On the front, the Realme 9i is equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
According to AliExpress’ placeholder list for the Realme 9i, the handset could have a 6.59-inch Full HD + LCD (2400 x 1080) display and come in two colors – black and blue. Instead of a fingerprint scanner in the display, Realme 9i offers a fingerprint sensor attached to the side. It’s recommended to have a Snapdragon SoC under the hood, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is currently unclear whether Realme will bring the smartphone to the market with additional RAM and storage variants.
