Jabra Elite 4 TWS earbuds with Spotify tap playback and active noise cancellation introduced


Jabra Elite 4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds have been introduced in some markets. The Danish brand’s earbuds are currently listed at retailers in Australia and the United Kingdom. They are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) paired with HearThrough technology, Spotify Tap Playback, integrated Amazon Alexa support and Google Fast Pair. The Jabra audio device also has fast charging technology. The Jabra Elite 4 wireless earbuds are said to offer a total battery life of up to 28 hours.

Jabra Elite 4 price, availability

The Jabra Elite 4 TWS earbuds are currently available for purchase from JB Hi-Fi retailers in Australia at AUD 179 and from Amazon UK for £ 119.99. Customers in these countries can purchase the bluetooth earbuds in black, mint and navy color options. No information is yet available on the launch of Jabra Elite 4 in India. Jabra is expected to showcase these earbuds at CES 2022.

Jabra Elite 4 specifications and features

The Jabra Elite 4 TWS earbuds feature Secure Active Fit, an ergonomic and wingless design that is said to help keep the earbuds secure while you exercise. They offer ANC for an immersive audio experience and an adjustable HearThrough feature that allows users to control the amount of ambient noise let in while listening to music or making calls. The earbuds come with four built-in microphones that are protected by a special mesh cover for added wind noise protection for a clearer calling experience, says Jabra. They are equipped with 6mm drivers, according to the Techradar report.

The Jabra Elite 4 TWS earbuds allow users to adjust the sound using the equalizer in the Jabra Sound + app. They have a Spotify Tap playback function for quick access to music in the streaming app. The earbuds are IP57 certified for dust and water resistance and use Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity. Additional functions include the integrated Amazon Alexa and wGoogle Fast Pair technology for quick pairing. There is also a mono mode that allows listeners to use both earbuds independently.

Jabra Elite 4 is said to provide eight hours of playtime when the ANC is turned on. According to Jabra, the charging case offers an additional 21 hours of run time – or three full charges – which essentially increases the total runtime of the TWS earbuds to 30 hours. The case also supports fast charging and the earbuds are said to provide an hour of playtime with 10 minutes of charging time. According to the Amazon UK list, each earbud weighs 5 grams and the case weighs 47.5 grams.
