OnePlus 10 Pro’s specifications reportedly appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and China Compulsory Certification (3C) website ahead of its official launch. The listing on the Geekbench site suggests 12GB of RAM for the upcoming OnePlus phone. However, the listing on the 3C site indicates 80W fast charge support. The upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro is already equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The flagship phone also comes with a next generation low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display.
The Geekbench list shows OnePlus 10 Pro with the model number NE2210. The same model number recently appeared on the website of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and was believed to be associated with the regular OnePlus 10 at the time.
According to the listing, originally discovered by Nashville Chatter, the phone has a chipset codenamed “Taro” associated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The website also shows that the phone has 10.97 GB of storage. On paper, that means 12 GB of RAM.
The benchmark listing also suggests Android 12 on the OnePlus phone. In addition, it shows that the handset received a single-core score of 976 points and a multi-core score of 3,469 points. However, these do not reflect the actual performance of the OnePlus 10 Pro as the phone on Geekbench may just be a prototype and may need improvement in the future.
Regardless, the OnePlus phone has appeared on the 3C site with the same model number as the NE2210, which suggests a bundled charger with a maximum power of 7.3 amps at 11V. This suggests 80W fast charge support.
The listing on the 3C site was originally discovered by MySmartPrice and independently verified by Gadgets 360.
OnePlus introduced Warp Charge 65T for the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 earlier this year. This proprietary technology delivered up to 65 W of power (6.5 A at 10 V).
By offering 80W fast charge this time around, the OnePlus 10 Pro could be the company’s fastest charging phone. The technology could continue the nomenclature of the company’s fast charge technology and could be named Warp Charge 80.
If we look at previous rumors, the OnePlus 10 Pro could have a 5,000 mAh battery in it. Rumor has it that the phone will also have 50W wireless charging using the Qi standard.
OnePlus 10 Pro is scheduled to launch in January, with the release date to be announced next week. In the meantime, pre-registrations for the flagship phone have already started in China.
