Realme GT Receives Android 12-Based Realme UI 3.0 Update In India

Realme GT smartphones in India are now receiving a stable update to Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12. The latest update for Realme GT brings a new version of Android and has been tested on the company’s beta channel before stable release. The update to Realme UI 3.0 brings a redesigned user interface with new symbols, animations and improvements to the Always-On-Display (AOD). Realme GT users will also get all of the security and privacy enhancements from Android 12 as part of the latest update.

In an announcement on the company’s official forum, Realme announced that the C.05 stable update to Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 is now rolling out to Realme GT users in India. The update has the version number RMX2202_11_C.05 and has a size of 194 MB. The update brings a redesigned homescreen layout, new icons and the company’s Quantum Animation Engine 3.0, which optimizes over 300 animations.

Users who have upgraded to Realme UI 3.0 on their Realme GT smartphones can take advantage of the optimized automatic screen brightness algorithm. The camera interface is now customizable, and the company says users will be able to zoom in and out more fluidly while recording video. According to the company, gamers should also see decreased CPU usage and battery usage at more stable frame rates.

Realme has also optimized multitasking as part of the Realme UI 2.0 update. Users can drag and drop files and photos into a new floating window after the update. Performance improvements include Quick Launch, a feature that preloads frequently opened apps for faster launches. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode, and NFC should also turn on and off faster after updating to Realme UI 3.0.

In addition to the new additions to the Realme UI 3.0 user interface, users who update to the latest version will also get access to Android 12-specific features such as privacy indicators that show which apps are using the microphone and camera, as well as warnings about how to access the Clipboard. Similarly, users can share Wi-Fi passwords with Near Share and give apps access to exact location (or general location) after installing the update for Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 on their Realme GT smartphones.
