Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge price teased in India ahead of January 6th launch

The price of Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India was teased in a media interview prior to its official launch. The new Xiaomi phone is said to be the fastest charging smartphone in the country thanks to its 120 W charging support. Earlier teasers released by the company also confirmed that the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will come with features like a 120Hz refresh rate display and a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. It is speculated that the smartphone is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro +, which was unveiled in China earlier this year.

India Today reports Raghu Reddy, Chief Business Officer of Xiaomi India, said in an interview that the price of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge was between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000.

The stated price of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is the same as that of the Redmi Note 11 Pro +. The smartphone was launched in China in October at a starting price of CNY 1,899 (approx. 22,200 rupees) for the basic version 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It also debuted in an 8GB + 128GB model for CNY 2,099 and an 8GB + 256GB option for CNY 2,299.

Exact details as to which configurations of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be available in India and at what prices are not yet known.

Via an updated microsite, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is available in three different color options, namely Camo Green, Pacific Pearl and Stealth Black. The company also previously teased the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge specs, which will include a 120Hz Full HD + AMOLED display with 1200 nits of peak brightness and will come with Dolby Atmos support. The MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC was also recently confirmed.

The USP of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be its 120 W fast charging support, which should charge the built-in battery from 0 to 100 percent in 15 minutes.

In addition to the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, the Chinese company is expected to launch the regular Xiaomi 11i in the country. That particular model could be a rebranded Redmi 11 Pro that launched alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro + and Redmi Note 11 5G in China.

Xiaomi is hosting the launch of its Xiaomi 11i series in India on January 6th. In the meantime, we can expect the company to release more details on the phones to come.
