CES 2022: Hisense U9H, U8H mini LED TV series launched, new laser TV models also debut


Hisense unveiled a range of mini LED and laser TV models at CES 2022 on Wednesday January 5th. The TV models are available in different sizes and at different prices. The Chinese company has expanded its U9H, U8H, U7H, U6H, A7H, A6H and A4H series along with its laser TV series (a short-throw projector with an included screen). The new televisions belong to the ULED, laser TV and smart TV entry-level classes. All offerings, with the exception of the A-series models, have a 4K panel. The highlight is the flagship model U9H, which has a mini LED panel and offers quantum dot HDR support.

Hisense U9H TV series price, specifications

Hisense first implemented mini-LED technology in its new flagship of the U9H series. The Chinese company says the technology is delivering great HDR performance with “better contrast, brighter images and more impressive colors than ever before”. The latest model in the series is equipped with a 76-inch 8K ULED mini-LED panel that is said to provide 2,000 nits of peak brightness and 1,280 local dimming zones. Additional functions include auto-low-latency mode, quantum dot HDR, 4K gaming with 120 Hz refresh rate in Game Mode Pro and AMD FreeSync support. The television will be available later this year for $ 3,200 (approximately Rs. 2,38,000).

Hisense U8H TV series price, specifications

Hisense U8H series televisions also have a ULED mini-LED panel that is said to offer 1,500 nits of brightness. Other TV functions include Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10 +, IMAX Enhanced picture quality support and FilmMaker mode. The TVs will be available later this year in sizes of 55 “, 65” and 75 “starting at $ 1,099 (approximately Rs 81,800).

Hisense U7H, U6H TV price, specifications

The Hisense U7H series is available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch sizes. The TV models do not have mini LED technology, but they do have ULED panels, quantum dot technology, AMD FreeSync support, 120 Hz refresh rate and IMAX enhanced support. Customers can purchase the TVs later this year for a starting price of $ 800 (approximately Rs. 59,500).

The Hisense U6H series includes 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models. They go on sale starting at $ 580 (approximately Rs. 43,000).

All of the above ULED TVs will come with Google TV and hands-free voice control.

Hisense A7H, A6H and A4H TV series price, specifications

The Hisense A7H, A6H and A4H smart TV series. A7H has an 85-inch TV that will be available later this year at a price of $ 1,700 (approximately Rs. 1,26,400).

The Hisense A6H series is equipped with 60 Hz refresh panels in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 70-inch models. These TVs, which also come with built-in Google Assistant, will also have a starting price of $ 300 (about $ 22,300). The cheapest A4H series is available with 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch TVs starting at $ 200 (about Rs.14,500).

Hisense Laser TV price, specifications

Hisense presented two laser TV models at CES 2022: PX1-PRO TriChroma Laser Cinema and L5G 4K Smart Laser TV in two sizes. The Hisense PX1-PRO TriChroma Laser Cinema TV starts at $ 3,999, the 100-inch L5G 4K Smart Laser TV starts at $ 4,499, and that’s 120-inch model.Price is $ 4,999 (approximately rupees 3,71,800).

Hisense laser TVs offer a wide color gamut to provide lifelike image reproduction for the home theater experience, the company said. They provide a crisp, realistic image for clarity. A laser TV consists of an ultra-short throw projector (UST) and a wall-mounted screen. The projector throws the light onto the screen and shows a cinema-like image with rich and vivid colors.
