Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G were launched in India on Tuesday. The two smartphones have a back made of Fluorit-AG glass, which supposedly changes color when hit by UV rays in sunlight. Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 1200 SOCs paired with up to 12 GB of RAM. The two Vivo smartphones also have 5G connectivity, Full HD + AMOLED displays and dual selfie cameras with a 50 megapixel primary sensor.

The Vanilla Vivo V23 5G costs Rs. 29,990 for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The variant with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage costs Rs. 34,990. Vivo V23 Pro 5G is available for Rs. 38,990 for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant and Rs. 43,990 for the 12 GB + 256 GB storage variant. The two Vivo smartphones are available in the color variants Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold.
They will be available through the official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores. Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G will be available for pre-order from January 5th. The former will be available from January 19th, while the latter will be available from January 13th.

The Dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V23 5G runs with Android 12. It has a 6.44-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of onboard storage. For the optics, it has a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f / 1.89, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f / 2.2 and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an aperture of f / 2 , 4. The focus is on a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a lens with an f / 2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a lens with an f / 2.28 aperture.
On the other hand, the Vivo V23 Pro has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display in Full HD + (1,080 x 2,376 pixels). Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage. Most of the camera sensors are carried over from the Vanilla V23 5G, with the exception of the primary rear camera, which is a 108 megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 1.88.
The connectivity options of the Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, USB Type-C, USB OTG, and Bluetooth v5.2. The integrated sensors include a fingerprint sensor in the display, an acceleration sensor, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an e-compass, a gyroscope, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC.
The Vivo V23 5G has a 4,200 mAh battery, while the Vivo V23 Pro 5G has a 4,300 mAh battery. Both support 44W fast charging. The former measures 157.2 x 72.42 x 7.39 mm and weighs 179 grams, while the latter measures 159.46 x 73.27 x 7.36 mm and weighs 171 grams.
