Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable was quietly unveiled on Friday January 7th at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022. The new 2-in-1 laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of on-board storage. It has a 10.5-inch WUXGA LCD display with 320 nits of peak brightness and a glossy display. The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable has a 13-megapixel main camera on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Asus 2-in-1 laptop has a 38 Wh battery.
Asus has not yet announced prices and availability of the Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable. It will be available in a single Star Black color option.
Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable Specifications
The newly introduced Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable runs on Windows 11. It has a 10.5-inch WUXGA LCD display (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) with 320 nits of peak brightness, an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a coverage of the sRGB Color space of 121 percent. Under the hood is the Asus 2-in-1 laptop, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC paired with the Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB eMMC storage.
For the optics, the Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable has a 13-megapixel main camera on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5 with 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Asus ExpertBook B3 also has AI noise reduction technology as well as 3D noise reduction technology for the selfie camera. It also gets a dedicated slot for a pen in the top right corner. However, the pen is an optional accessory along with a stand cover.
The Asus 2-in-1 laptop has a MIL-STD-810H design. The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable contains a 38 Wh lithium-ion battery that is charged with a 45 W USB Type-C charger. It measures 260.3 x 172.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 630 grams.
