Vivo Y33T was launched in India on Monday January 10th. The new Vivo phone essentially brings a few upgrades over the Vivo Y21T that debuted in the country last week. The upgrades include more RAM and a higher resolution selfie camera sensor. However, the Vivo Y33T retains the waterdrop-style display notch and triple rear camera setup that are available on the existing Vivo phone. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery. Vivo Y21T is available in two different color options.
Vivo Y33T India price, availability
The price for the Vivo Y33T in India has been set at Rs. 18,990 for the only configuration with 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage. The phone is available in the colors Midday Dream and Mirror Black. It will be available starting today (January 10th) through Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo India E-Store, Paytm, Tata, Bajaj Finserv EMI Store and at various offline retailers.
In comparison, the Vivo Y21T was priced in the country for Rs. 16,490 for the single 4GB + 128GB variant.
Vivo Y33T specifications
The dual SIM (Nano) Vivo Y33T runs on Android with FunTouch OS 12 on the top and has a 6.58 inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,408 pixels) in-cell display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz the phone from an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC and 8 GB of RAM. This is in contrast to the Vivo Y21T, which came with 4GB of RAM. The main memory of the Vivo Y33T can be expanded virtually by a further 4 GB via the built-in memory. For photos and videos, the Vivo Y33T is equipped with a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 1.8 lens. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
For selfies and video chats, the Vivo Y33T has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front with an f / 2.0 lens. The Vivo Y21T, on the other hand, offers an 8 megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f / 1.8 lens.
The Vivo Y33T has 128 GB of onboard storage that supports expansion with a microSD card (up to 1 TB). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, FM radio and a USB Type-C port. The sensors on board include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Vivo has donated a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charge to the Y33T. The phone measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8 mm and weighs 182 grams.
