Halo Infinite will soon receive an update containing a hotfix for the matchmaking issue in the Big Team Battle (BTB) multiplayer mode. The developer 343 Industries has not yet announced when the hotfix will be rolled out. The developers are also working on mitigating multiplayer fraud for Halo Infinite, and its patch is slated to be released sometime in February. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode is free and cross-platform. In December 2020, Halo Infinite won the Player’s Voice category at the Game Awards 2021.

In a blog post, Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries announced that it will shortly release a hotfix for the matchmaking issue of the 12-player BTB multiplayer mode. However, the developer has not announced when the hotfix will roll out for gamers on PC and Xbox, but says it is almost ready to use. In BTB mode, larger teams and an increasing number of players have a small chance of successfully participating in a match together.

343 Industries also mentioned that the Halo Infinite BTB mode hotfix is ​​now under internal testing and has not reported any internal issues with this build. Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer mode started as an open beta test in November. According to reports, players initially faced some bugs which were subsequently fixed.
