PlayStation 5 will be back in stock in India on Tuesday 18th January at 12pm (noon). Sony’s online shop ShopAtSC has announced the new restock details together with Amazon. This is the first PS5 sale of 2022, and retailers like Croma, Flipkart, Prepaid Gamer Card, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales are expected to restock the PlayStation 5 next Tuesday. Currently, these ecommerce sites have the console listed on their respective sites with no pre-order date.
Sony’s online store ShopAtSC has updated its PlayStation 5 section with a banner mentioning the pre-order date and time for the standard edition PS5. As mentioned, customers can order it on January 18th at 12 PM IST (noon). Deliveries will begin on February 8th. However, ShopAtSC says delivery date depends on location and lockdown or lockdown restrictions in some areas may delay delivery. Sony Center is currently only promoting the regular PS5 Blu-ray Edition for January 18th, and there is no mention of the Discless PS5 Digital Edition.
Alongside this, Amazon has also announced that it will be restocking the PlayStation 5 on January 18th at 12pm IST (noon). However, no delivery date has yet been announced by the e-commerce platform.
Several other websites including Flipkart, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card and Croma have listed the console on their respective websites with no pre-order date. These platforms are also expected to go live on the PS5 standard edition on the same date.
The new 2022 boost comes around three weeks since the PlayStation 5 last went on sale in India on December 28. Like all previous sales dates, the console sold out within minutes.
PlayStation 5 was launched globally in November 2020 and reached India in early 2021. The PS5 costs Rs. 49,990 for the standard edition while the digital edition costs Rs. 39,990.
